After waiting what I figured out to be roughly a year and a half the Maldives is only 2 days away.
I'm just starting to get excited, but am mostly nervous... probably because I have no idea what to really expect.
My suitcase is packed (a very nice 25kg), my carry-on is stuffed with books. All that I have left to buy is a snorkel and everything is ready to go.
Remember when I said we bought a mountain of books? Here is just over half the mountain...

This time next week I will be the Maldives. Crazy.
Everything is finally sorted. We've had our pre-depature meeting which made me so excited that I couldn't get to sleep for hours. I also have an extra 10kg for the mountain of books that we ('we' being myself, Nicole, Charlotte and Caitlin) bought with our fundraising money. And when I say 'mountain' I do really mean a mountain.
